DataAge intended to upgrade their product, PawnMaster, which was being used by 200+ pawnbrokers. The legacy application which was a FoxPro desktop application did not allow them to have a multi-tenant web app that can be controlled centrally.

Team HexaLeap helped DataAge to realize their dream. Designing the multi-tenant architecture and designing/developing a new web application hosted on the cloud which allowed their users to use the application from anywhere and everywhere. When all the data from the previous application was migrated for each store during the off business hours, and the app would be upgraded for the store on the very next day, the clients never faced downtime or glitches, and helping them get comfortable with the new app gave us more pleasure than ever.

Architecture

Amazon hosted cloud services to run the dotnet/C# based web application. With the help of microservices architecture, the application was lightning-fast. A separate reporting database which was populated every night by an automated job helped the customers and the DataAge team to visualize data on PowerBi reports without putting a load on the application database. A perfect solution indeed for a very happy client.
